Children with a parent in prison grow up wondering if their mom or dad still loves them. Through Angel Tree and Living Hope Church, you can be the one to show them they do!

For 2.7 million children in the U.S., that story may be filled with the abandonment, loneliness, and shame that come from having a mom or dad in prison. For many, it may also include following their parents down the same destructive road to incarceration. Angel Tree®, a program of Prison Fellowship, reaches out to the children of prisoners and their families with the love of Christ. This unique program gives you an opportunity to share God’s love by helping to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the families of prisoners.

Imagine the impact of receiving a gift from an incarcerated father or mother! There is a knock at the door, and caring people from a nearby church announce they have brought you a Christmas gift from your dad or mom. They show you a note from your distant parent and you realize you are still loved!

Angel Tree is about so much more than Christmas gifts. It is a powerful tool in God’s hands to reconcile broken families. It brings hope and comfort to children who desperately miss their incarcerated parent and it connects caring Christians with hurting families.
